If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will also collect more personal data, and your personal information will be used to send marketing communications that we consider relevant or interesting to you via email. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you can use the opt-out option, and from that moment on, you will no longer be contacted regarding this matter.

If a person refuses to provide their data, it may be that certain services can no longer be offered by Studio Earl.

To keep your data up to date, we ask that you inform us of any changes, such as in the case of a change of address.

You also have the right to obtain the deletion of your personal data without undue delay if and to the extent that:

1. the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes;

2. a legal basis no longer exists;

3. you object to the processing, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing by Studio Earl;

4. the personal data have been unlawfully processed; or

5. personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation imposed on Studio Earl.

Studio Earl will send you a confirmation message after processing a deletion request. In the case of partial deletion, Studio Earl will also provide an explanation as to why the request could not be fully fulfilled.

It is possible that, depending on the nature of the request, some services may no longer be offered by Studio Earl. Studio Earl may also not always be able to delete all requested data, for example, to comply with legal obligations (for instance, to meet accounting and tax requirements, Studio Earl is required to retain invoicing data for up to 7 years).

Right to restriction of processing

You also have the right, as the data subject, to request Studio Earl to restrict the processing of your personal data if and to the extent that one of the following applies:

1. you contest the accuracy of the personal data, in which case the processing will be restricted for a period that allows Studio Earl to verify its accuracy;

2. the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request instead that its use be restricted;

3. Studio Earl no longer requires the personal data for processing purposes, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim;

4. You have objected to the processing, pending the response to the question of whether the legitimate grounds of Studio Earl outweigh those of the data subject.

In the case of restriction of processing, the data may still be stored by Studio Earl.

Right to data portability

For personal data that (i) is processed in the context of the performance of the agreement, (ii) was provided by you, and (iii) is processed through automated processes, you, as the data subject, have the right to obtain this data from Studio Earl in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as to request Studio Earl to transfer that data directly to another party, if technically feasible, should you wish to switch to another provider.

8. Retention periods

Studio Earl stores and processes your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in Section 4.

The retention period may vary depending on the purpose, for example, to comply with legal obligations (for instance, Studio Earl is required to retain invoicing data for up to 7 years to meet our accounting and tax obligations) or due to the legal necessity to retain certain data as evidence in case of disputes, for up to 10 years after the termination of your contract. These archived data will, of course, be accessible only on a limited basis.
